We can’t wait for our local students to join us at the 2025 Mahoning Valley Skilled Trades Expo! On September 16th, 17th, and 18th, thousands of students from local schools and surrounding areas will visit the Canfield Fairgrounds to meet with professionals in the skilled trades, and learn more about apprenticeship and career opportunities available after graduation. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the trades in a hands-on setting from some of the most knowledgeable individuals in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. We hope to see you there!

On September 17th, 18th, and 19th, over 5,900 students packed the Canfield Fairgrounds for the Skilled Trades Expo. Thank you to all the students, teachers, counselors, skilled trades representatives another successful event.

The annual MVST Expo is a place where students and adults alike are invited to see firsthand all of the different trades in the Valley and what they have to offer. Each year we get to bring everyone together to spend the day with us, learn more about all of the different trades, and to give people the opportunity to try these skills out in a hands-on way!
This interactive expo will help guide students in a pathway for the Skilled Construction Trades. This event will feature opportunities for students to learn by doing. This year the event has been extended to two days to further allow more hands on activity for the students. Grades 7th-12th are welcome.
Please note: Bring a bag lunch if you plan on attending during lunch hours.
